Recharter/Renewal Process

- Thanks to all for RSVPing for Recharter/Renewal! We got most of the scouts and adults through the system.
- However, there are several adults who do not yet appear on the Troop Roster via my.scouting. Most likely the issue is due to expiration of YPT (must be taken every two years). If you are on that list (Fackler, Hammes, Jessup, Kennedy, Lutes), please login to my.scouting and complete YPT to see if that will automatically renew you back into the Troop. If you take those steps, and it doesn't resolve the roster, let us know and we will follow up with the council office.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Upcoming MB opportunities

The council is also offering a few MB opportunities through the Skip and Alex Lange Innovation Center:

Crossroads of America Council offers NYLT over a two weekend course format that can be attended in spring or in fall. For the two weekend courses participants must attend both weekends to complete their training.

Scouts BSA members must be First Class rank and at least 13 years old. They must have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST).

- Eagle Boards of Review. First Sunday of every month.

- Crossover families, we will share instructions with you to transfer yourself and scout into T133/T1033 through my.scouting

National Youth Leadership Training

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an action-packed program designed to provide Scouts with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. This program is the centerpiece of the council’s youth training opportunities, providing local units with outstanding youth leaders and giving those participants the tools and leadership ideals that will serve them well in whatever they do.

Spring Course (Liam M is attending, and there are two slots left!):
- 4/11/25-4/13/25 and 4/25/25-4/27/25
Fall Course
- 9/5/25-9/7/25 and 9/19/25-9/21/25

REGISTRATION:
- register and pay on the council website.  However, you can also RSVP on the calendar event so we can track training and camping nights.

$345 per participant and includes all food, materials, NYLT course wear, and recognition
Application must be received by March 1st (April course)

Adult Volunteer Opportunity

Our Troops run our own Board of Reviews for Tenderfoot through Life Rank. The Eagle Review Board happens at our District Level.  But that is also run by volunteers, and they are seeking volunteers:
- Eagle Boards of Review. First Sunday of every month.
- Eagle Project Proposal Review. Meet with scouts via zoom to discuss project proposals.

You don't need to be a long time scouter veteran. Just a basic understanding of the scouting program, and interest in supporting youth.
Talk to Gary for more info if you are interested.
